Sky mostly writes retold fairytales with dry humour where secrets are peeled back like onions. Sometimes, in her standalones, she likes to make you choose, depending on your disposition (optimist vs pessimist) - coz the path that awaits depends on the decisions we take. She lives in Tallinn, Estonia, travels a lot, but less now that her kid has gone to school.
Besides fairytales, Sky keeps experimenting with different genres: myths&legends; steampunk; post-apocalyptic scifi; quirky fantasy romance and alternative history to name a few that are currently in the works.
Hiring a hot angel as her bodyguard was a smart business move… wasn’t it? Strictly business.
This Goddesses Series starter (book #1) is now available in ebook format.
Book #2 in the Goddesses Saga – Life&Death: The Goddess of Light – will be out on February 8, 2023 and is currently on pre-order on Amazon.
A friendship fiction book about ancient goddesses grappling with a bet gone wrong. It’s 0.5 prequel to the Goddesses Saga, but can be read as a standalone.
A Red Riding Hood multigenerational retelling with an interwoven second chances romance.
A clean multigen (YA/NA) prequel novella to Cinders: Necessary Evil and Charm&Mayhem: The Goddess of Fate.
A magical collection of brand new sea-themed fairytales collecting donations for Oceana to keep our oceans safe.
A magical collection of new fairytales set in the forest, collecting donations for Rainforest Foundation to support indigenous and traditional peoples in their effort to protect the environment.
An illustrated collection of ten incendiary fairytales, collecting donations to help communities prone to wildfires.
A collection of clean quirky, strange and out right unusual short stories collecting donations for Book Aid International to support literacy.
My story, Yumiko’s revenge is probably the most gruesome I’ll ever write, but it’s all about the blood-lapping magic boots. (Hey, it takes a lot of energy transporting people from A to B and cleaning up their messes, so yes, the boots take blood and life-years as payment and resurface again in Cinders: Necessary Evil and Life&Death: The Goddess of Light. And Ash: Crooked Fates as well.)
A collection of clean short tales of mixups and mistaken identities to support literacy.
My story, To Find A Queen is about Nefarious Russelbulb the Seventh hunting down a girl who would become Queen Gretel Crimsonlocks.
The anthology comes out April 20, 2023 and is currently on pre-order.
A clean YA prequel novella to Cinders: Necessary Evil. If you’ve read my Thumbelina, you’ll find the zombie fairy quite familiar.
Dystopian is a vastly different genre from my usual fairytales, but this is actually the first book I ever wrote (and didn’t publish). I published Goddesses: The Bet instead. Go figure.
With magic on Earth being on the fritz, the previous Goddess of Fate hiding some secrets of her own, her father's snooping, and a gorgeous angel who is clueless about modern times, Marina has her hands full. Can she find time for love in all this chaos? This story was fun, fast paced and hilarious, even though I wanted to hit Gabriel with a frying pan once or twice.
To die, to sleep, perchance… well, Death can’t. Not before one petulant dark angel takes over her job.
The Goddess of Death wants to die. Badly. But not before she finds a successor. Where does one go for those?
Tired of all the decisions - to reap or not to reap - the Goddess of Life & Light wants out, too. Who knew 8 billion earthlings would require quite so much attention. Working with Death is never a picnic. That Excel table and the constant yes-es and no-s would drive anyone mad.
Will the deadly duo recruit best friends or star-crossed lovers? Will anyone at all fall for their sales pitch? Forever may be a short word, but what kind of a relationship would last for all eternity?
